Sam replaced my home’s old cheap doors with heavy fire doors. Not really a job that utilises what are clearly her many skills but, given the weird shapes and fittings of my doorways, I really appreciated her expertise. She’s a good communicator, friendly and knows what she’s doing. Highly recommended.

We own a timber-framed listed building in West Sussex. We found Sam through the Weald & Downland Museum, and since then Sam has worked on our property on a couple of occasions and we’re delighted with her work. Her knowledge of the construction and maintenance of ancient buildings is extensive, and the quality of her work is second to none. Thanks Sam & Louie!

Sam was initially recommended by a neighbour. She was prompt in replying to an online enquiry with many different options the installation of an upcycled door including adaptation of the latch/handle. She has done a marvelous job in somewhat suboptimal conditions of our wonky old house. Thank you so much! Highly recommended 😊

Sam has built a fence and gate for our back garden. She listened to exactly what it was we wanted and needed, and designed the perfect solution. The finished job is excellent, high quality and looks great. Sam was also a pleasure to have at our house and even left the fence/gate area cleaner then when she started!
We would highly recommend Sam for carpentry work.

I first saw Sam's work when she completed a job for my employer, I was impressed by her design and carpentry skills. I also noticed the way she managed relationships with people affected by that job. Sam has just rebuilt our back gate with fencing, to our specification. She was great to work with. She does what she says she will do, gave good professional advice about what would work best and why. She's done a great job to a high standard. She works quickly and is very tidy. I'd highly recommend her service and we will be asking her to do other work in future.

Very happy with Sam's work. She's very skillful, efficient and reliable. She built a stud wall, filled in some floorboard gaps and adjusted and installed some second hand old doors for us. 'Love her passion for her craft, and she's a real expert with doors!

Extremely happy with the work Sam carried out. The whole of my front porch needed replacing due to wood rot. Sam removed everything and did an excellent job replacing it while keeping the original Edwardian character of the porch. Work was carried out promptly and I appreciated that she kept me fully informed throughout the week that it took to complete the job. Costs were broken down so I could see how the quote had been arrived at. Sam left the property clean and tidy at the end of each day. It was a pleasure to have her working on the property. The new porch looks great! I recommend her without reservation!

Sam did a wonderful job repairing and draft proofing our big front door. She was professional, efficient and a good communicator throughout the work here and was a pleasure to have around. As the work progressed she was flexible to change track as it was apparent that a part of the job was would not add value so she offered to spend the extra time repairing our front gate which now closes like a dream.
